TSS has been a leading provider of thermal spray coating solutions in Italy since 2000.

Our expertise spans all thermal spray technologies, with particular focus on Metallization, Plasma, and HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) coatings. These technologies allow us to apply a wide range of powders, including tungsten carbide (WC), chromium carbide (CrC), nickel- and cobalt-based metals, stellite alloys, chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃), zirconia (ZrO₂), alumina (Al₂O₃), titanium oxide (TiO₂), copper (Cu), and more.

Our coatings serve diverse industries, from aerospace and oil & gas to glass, paper, and aluminium production. Beyond standard wear and corrosion protection, thermal spray coatings are used for dimensional restoration of worn components, thermal and electrical insulation, and anti-wear solutions for rotating parts.

Specialised Manufacturing

TSS is a recognised specialist in the production of plungers for alternative pumps and mechanical seals for centrifugal pumps, supplying top Italian manufacturers such as Peroni Pompe SpA and Floserve – Worthington Italy.

We have extensive experience coating turbine blades and vanes for both aeronautical and oil & gas applications. Prestigious clients, including Alitalia, Fincantieri, Nuovo Pignone – GE, Ansaldo, and CIRA (Italian Aerospace Research Centre), rely on our services for high-performance coatings.

Location and Facilities

Located in Cassino Industrial Zone, Italy, just 300 metres from the A1 motorway connecting Milan and Naples, TSS sits midway between Rome and Naples. Our production facility spans 1,000 sqm, supported by 600 sqm of technical and administrative offices.

  • Full-automatic Metallization, Plasma, and HVOF systems, handling parts up to 5,000 kg and dimensions 2,000 x 2,000 x 1,000 mm.

  • Complete mechanical department with lathes and grinding machines for manufacturing plungers and rotating seals.
